Website design for tradesmen and small businesses
A website that makes the phone ring. We write it, build it and launch it — you do not touch a keyboard. From £499, live in two to three weeks.
Not a template with your name dropped in
Every site is built around what your customers actually want to know: what you do, where you work, what it costs and how to reach you.
That sounds obvious. Most small business websites still get it wrong — the phone number is buried, the pictures are dark, and it is impossible to use on a phone. Ours are not.
Built for phones first
Around three quarters of the people looking for a tradesperson are on a mobile. Your site is designed for that screen before any other.
Loads in a blink
Slow sites lose customers before they have seen a word. We keep everything light so your pages open instantly, even on patchy signal.

Every trade sells differently. Here is what we build into a site for each one, and why it matters when somebody is choosing between you and the next name on the list.
Most people looking for a builder want to see finished work before they read a word about you. Your site leads with a gallery of completed jobs – extensions, loft conversions, groundwork – and a short line on each saying what it involved and roughly how long it took. We put the details that actually win the job near the top: whether you are insured, which areas you cover, and how quickly you can get out to quote. If you hold a trade body membership, that goes where people about to spend serious money will see it.
Electrical work is a trust purchase, so your qualifications do the selling. Your registration – NICEIC, NAPIT or whoever you are with – goes in the header rather than buried on an about page. We split the site so domestic and commercial customers land on the right information, because a landlord who needs an EICR and a homeowner who wants extra sockets are looking for different things. Emergency callouts get their own tap-to-call button, since somebody with no power is on a phone and will ring the first number that works.
Half your enquiries are emergencies and half are planned work, and the site has to serve both without getting in its own way. Emergency callout sits at the top with a number that dials on one tap. Underneath, the planned jobs are laid out properly – boiler installs, bathroom fits, power flushes – with enough detail that people know you do them. Your Gas Safe number is displayed clearly, because customers are told to check it. If you offer finance on a new boiler, we make that obvious; it is often what decides the sale.
Roofing enquiries nearly always start with a problem: a leak, a slipped tile, storm damage. The site opens with those rather than a company history. Your work goes up as before-and-after pairs, which sell a roof better than any description can. Working at height makes people wary of cowboys, so insurance, guarantees and how long you have been trading all sit where they are easy to find. Most roofing searches happen straight after bad weather, so the site is built to load fast on a phone in a hurry.
Joinery sells on craftsmanship, so the photographs do most of the work. We build a proper gallery – fitted wardrobes, staircases, kitchens, bespoke pieces – with images sized to load quickly and still look sharp. Each piece gets a line or two on the timber and the brief, which is exactly what somebody commissioning bespoke work wants to read. If you take on both one-off commissions and second-fix site work, we keep the two apart so neither puts the other off.
Plastering is priced per job and customers almost always want a ballpark before they ring. Honest guide prices on the site – a typical room skim, a full re-plaster, rendering – cut out the enquiries you do not want and warm up the ones you do. Photographs of finished walls and ceilings matter more than you would expect, particularly for rendering and decorative work. Your coverage area is stated plainly, because plasterers waste a lot of time on calls from too far out.
Landscaping is seasonal and entirely visual, so the site is built around a portfolio you can add to from your phone as jobs finish. Before-and-after pairs work best – a tired lawn next to the finished patio sells the job on its own. We keep one-off design and build work separate from regular maintenance rounds, because they are different customers with different budgets. The enquiry form asks for garden size and a rough budget, which saves you quoting for work that was never going to happen.
Decorating is won on tidiness and reliability as much as on the finish itself. Your site leads with clean, well-lit photographs of completed rooms and says plainly whether you do interiors, exteriors or both. We include the practical answers people want before they ring: whether you move furniture, how you protect floors, how long a typical room takes and whether you supply the paint. Reviews sit beside the gallery, because a recommendation carries more weight in this trade than anything you can say about yourself.

Website design questions
Not a problem. We can design around it and build the site so photos slot in later – then you just send us pictures from your phone as jobs come in and we will add them. Real photos of your own work always beat stock images.
No. We will find you a good one and get it registered in your name. If you already own one, we will use that instead – you do not need to move anything or cancel anything.
Yes, if you want to. We build on WordPress with a visual editor, so changing a phone number or adding a photo is drag-and-drop. And if you would rather not touch it at all, just message us and we will do it.
Only the hosting and domain, which is a small yearly cost every website has – we will tell you exactly what it is before you commit. There is no compulsory monthly retainer and no contract you cannot get out of.
